Vienna (Wien, Viena) is the capital of the Republic of Austria and by far its most populous city, with an urban population of 1.7 million and a metropolitan population of 2.4 million. Vienna developed from early Celtic and Roman settlements into a Medieval and Baroque city, the capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The historic centre of Vienna is rich in architectural ensembles, including Baroque castles and gardens. Vienna, also described as Europe's cultural capital, is a metropolis with unique charm, vibrancy and flair. It boasts outstanding infrastructure, is clean and safe, and has all the inspiration that you could wish for in order to discover this wonderful part of Europe.
Budapest is the capital and the most populous city of Hungary. Budapest became a single city occupying both banks of the Danube river with the unification of Buda and Óbuda on the west bank, with Pest on the east bank on November 17, 1873. It is the administrative, cultural, scientific, economic, trade and transportation center with about 2 million inhabitants. In AD 89, the Romans founded Aquincum on the old Celtic settlement, where Óbuda is currently located. During the next four centuries, it served as the capital of Pannonia, an ancient province of the Roman Empire. The word Aquincum comes from the word “aqua” (water) due to its numerous thermal springs, which centuries later, in 1934, would give Budapest the title of “City of Spas”.
A great way to go
Driver was on time (actually early by 15 minutes). Very friendly, drove professionally and was accommodating. The car was in great shape and very clean.
Driver was on time and was very nice even when we forgot a bag and had to return to our pick up location. Everything went smoothly.
Professional, comfortable, hassle free transfer from Budapest to Prague
We booked a transfer from Budapest to Prague - hotel door to hotel door, thoroughly professional, on time, courteous, English speaking, safe and considerate driver. John was an excellent driver - he arrived well before our booked time and was waiting for us in the hotel foyer. We had a very smooth, interesting drive with a brief comfort and coffee stop along the way and arrived relaxed and ready for the next stage of our holiday at our Prague hotel. Much faster than train travel, no multiple handling of our luggage and a single journey with no waiting times, rather than two taxis and a train journey. Excellent value. Many thanks John. Faultless. Highly recommended.
Professional, clean, and comfortable
The car was spacious and the driver was courteous and considerate to the needs of my grandmother who has a hard time travelling. There was bottled water and fast wifi connection.
Better than flying!
Driver was punctual, courteous, fast. Car was clean and comfortable. This is much more efficient than flying. Pick up at hotel and dropped off at docks! No wasted time waiting at airport, travelling to and from airport!
Reliable, professional transportation
Our drive from Salzburg to Prague was very professional and reliable. We did not know what to expect having read minimal reviews beforehand, so I'm leaving a review to affirm our positive experience to other travelers. I would do it again!
